Kohima, Oct. 10 (EMN): Chedema United FC and Nagaland University Students’ Union (NUSU) KC won their respective matches on day-three of the ongoing 22nd edition of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) Martyr’s Memorial trophy organised by the Angami Students’ Union (ASU), on Monday.
Playing the first match, Chedema United FC beat Spartex FC in a tie breaker.
T5SBQ2k1&uG9kI5#NJN5^yijChedema United FC registered the account from the first half itself, scored by Neithongulie Tsira at the 27th minute and after the breather, Razouvituo Tsükrü of Spartex FC equalised the goal line at the 74th minute, pushing the game into the tie breaker.
However, luck favoured Chedema United FC enabling them to advance to the next round.
Seyieneituo Tsira of Chedema United FC was awarded man of the match, and the prize was handed over by Seyieneilhou Keyho, President, Chakhroma Youth Organisation.
In the second match too, Nagaland University Students Union (NUSU) KC won the match through a tiebreaker against Real Boys FC as both the teams could not register a goal after full-time.
Rokovizo Chalieu of Real Boys FC was awarded man of the match and Sedevikho T Angami, ASU senior leader, handed the award.
October 11 (Tuesday) match update:
