KOHIMA — The road to the quarter-finals of the 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy has been set, with eight teams scheduled to compete at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, from October 10 to the 14th at 4:30 pm.
Teams advancing to the quarter-finals are Chedema Village Youth Organisation (CVYO), Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS), Mao Students’ Union (MSU), Nagaland United Sports Club (NUSC), Sechü Zubza Football Club (SZFC), Red Scars FC, Kuki United FC and Anal Lenruwl Tangpi.
Chedema Village Youth Organisation (CVYO) and Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) will meet in the opening quarter-final match on October 10.

CVYO has delivered an exceptional performance throughout the tournament, winning match after match. The team beat four teams in total, including Amigos FC Tesophenyu (7-0), Kidima Farmers United (2-0), United Brothers FC (7-1), and Rever Gantok SC (4-0), scoring 20 goals and conceding one.
Former champion Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) was directly placed in the pre-quarter-final stage, where they began their campaign in confident fashion. The team beat Mez & Co 3–1 to enter the quarter-finals.
Reigning champion Sechü Zubza FC will take on Red Scars FC on October 11.
Former champion Red Scars FC were placed directly in the pre-quarter-final stage, where they played their first match against Michazou FC and secured a 5–0 victory, booking their place in the quarter-finals.
Defending champions Sechü Zubza Football Club also entered the tournament directly from the pre-quarter-final stage. They faced Ward-19 Kohima in their opening match, which ended in a goalless draw (0–0) after regular time. The outcome was decided through a tense tie-break, where SZFC triumphed 3–1 to advance to the quarter-finals.
After a Sunday break, Mao Students’ Union and Nagaland United Sports Club will clash on October 13.
MSU displayed remarkable consistency and determination in their journey to the quarter-finals. With a total of 16 goals scored and only four conceded, MSU heads into the quarter-finals with momentum and confidence.
MSU beat New Market FC 3–2 in a tightly contested match on October 8. Lohrü Kaisü scored braces while W John added another goal for MSU. Letkokia Kuki and Haoneo Kuki scored one goal each for New Market FC.
Placed directly in the pre-quarter-finals, former second runner-up of the Nagaland Super League, Nagaland United Sports Club (NUSC), made a thunderous entry into the tournament as they defeated Dimapur Chaos 7–0 on October 8.
Yhoto Lohe, Arap Konyak, Sanathoi Meitei, Joel Haokip, Jenish Singh, Manton, and Ghuqhe Chishi contributed a goal each for NUSC.
Kuki United FC and Anal Lenruwl Tangpi will meet on October 14. Kuki United beat Delhi Police 2–0 on Thursday to book their spot in the pre-quarter-final. Lunaldo Kuki netted both goals for the team.
Anal Lenruwl Tangpi beat Nagaland Police 3–0 in the last pre-quarter-final match on Thursday to advance to the quarter-finals. Kagaly, Winkle, and Changkingam scored one goal each for ALT.
