Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has forecasted heavy rainfall at isolated places in Peren, Kohima, Longleng and Tuensang districts from June 20 to 24.
In its weather analysis, NSDMA has also predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places in Wokha, Phek, and Tuensang districts on June 23, while heavy rainfall is also predicted at isolated places in Zunheboto, Mokokchung, Longleng, Tuensang, and Kiphire districts on June 24.
However, NSDMA informed that the Northeast India region including Nagaland is most likely to record deficient rainfall this year according to their weather pattern analysis and forecast. Weather models indicated that the region is likely to have deficient rainfall by ten percent to 15 percent, the press release added.
