NSDMA convenes monsoon preparedness meeting

Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has convened a monsoon preparedness meeting on July 18 at 2 p.m. in the office of the Chief Secretary. The meeting is being called to discuss the prevailing monsoon situation and also to assess public utilities such as bridges, culverts, drainages etc. This is in view of disaster risk reduction and prevention. The following have been requested to attend the meeting: AHODs PHE, PWD (R&B) (H)(M), I&FC, Agriculture, Urban Development, Power and H&FW; Director General of Police and Director General of HG&CD; Commandant of Border Roads Organisation, Kohima; DDMA chairman, Kohima, Dimapur, Peren, Kiphire, Tuensang, Wokha, Longleng, Mokokchung, Phek, Zunheboto and Mon; The Municipal Councils Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung.
