One NSCN (K) cadre was killed on Monday last at Nyan village, under Phomching sub-division in Mon. The killing was reportedly done by cadres from the victim’s own organization. Sources said that the victim, 38-year-old Wangshi Konyak of Longwa village, was executed by NSCN (K) members after learning of his attempt to join rivals NSCN (R). The incident occurred at around 5 pm.
