Dimapur, November 8: Stating that the sacred Naga political movement has been polluted by few selfish and criminal defectors, who after committing some crime or the other used to defect from one organisation to another mainly to cover up their crimes, NSCN (Reformation) today said such people should not be entertained to ensure peaceful atmosphere in Naga country.
NSCN (R) statement through its MIP said the entire environments have been polluted by such defectors affecting Naga national politics thereby creating a situation of fratricidal among the Nagas. It said most of the defectors have committed one crime or the other without which they would not have defect.
It cited a case of Abel Pochury, who recently defected to GPRN/NSCN with cash amount of Rs 20, 00000 meant for Ceasefire meeting movement and collective leader’s maintenance. It said the case of Abel Pochury was thoroughly discussed in the meeting of council of kilonsers and warned him to refund the stolen money to NSCN (R) within November 15 without fail.
The statement said failure on the part of Abel will invite serious action to which it said GPRN/NSCN should not mis-understand its action on their workers. It said NSCN (R) has no bad intentions towards GPRN/NSCN and will continue to co-exist in defense of the Naga nation in the face of any challenges from any corner collectively. It, however, said the case in question with Abel should not disturb its relationship.
“Only for a criminal man like Mr. Abel, the relationship between GPRN/NSCN and NSCN/GPRN-Reformation will not be disturbed,” the statement added.
