The collective leaders of the NSCN- Reformation, Y. Wangtin Naga, President and P. Tikhak, Ato Kilonser met Khole at his residence in Tobu on February 17 and spent a night with him.
MIP NSCN- Reformation in a press note said, “Both the leaders enquired about his health. It was more of an emotional and family meeting rather than political. Both the leaders also tried to convey the message to Khole that, you are a fatherly figure not only for the Konyak–Tangsang group but for all the Nagas as well. For us you have been always our guiding force and our mentor. We are just following your footstep according to the foundation you have laid down. It is from you we learnt inspiration and dedication for the Naga political cause. Any number of our sacrifices and dedication will be of no compare when it comes to the amount of sacrifices and the amount of hard work with full dedication and conviction you have done for the cause of the Naga people.”
Khole also advised both the leaders to work vigorously for unity among the Naga people. He said, without unity there will be no actual peace. Unity alone can salvage the people from any given situation. Furthermore, he said that he always longed to see the Naga people united and strongly endorsed Naga peace and reconciliation without which there cannot be permanent peace.
He also advised in particular Y.Wangtin Naga that Konyaks should stand unitedly against all odds and destructive forces and to stand firmly under one able leadership. He also advised both the leaders to sincerely serve for the Naga cause in the spirit of peace and brotherhood among the Naga family.
