Dimapur, Dec.16: Chairman and president of NSCN/GPRN, S.S Khaplang along with all the ranks and files conveyed Christmas greetings to all Nagas.S.S Khaplang, said at this testing time of sojourn for national liberation, may the birth of Jesus Christ renew our faith and re-strengthen the resolution to carry ahead the mission without faltering.
Even though the gloom and cruelty of Indian militarization pervades our land may the true spirit of Christ overcome the shadows of fear and enable each of us to celebrate the coming of the redeemer into the world with elation and joyous spirit. May the gracious blessings of Christmas comfort the agony and painful emptiness of those families who have lost fathers, sons and daughters to decades of struggle against the horrors of forceful occupation of our Country, conveyed NSCN/GPRN. It also sent greetings to revolutionary fraternities of WSEA and to all the struggling people across the globe.
As we prepare to welcome the birth of the Prince of peace into our midst, let us allow Christ to be born into our lives so that we may continue to commit and uphold our National obligation and strive for ultimate national deliverance under the sacred banner, “Nagaland for Christ”. With renewed vigour and uncompromising faith in Christ let us march into the promising year 2017, said NSCN/GPRN. Further, it wished the people of Nagaland a blessed Christmas and joyous New Year.
