DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 16
The NSCN (K) on Friday issued a chilling warning to “certain lawmakers in the incumbent government” that it would, “sooner than expected”, begin a process of “selective obliteration of elements daring to effect (the) demise of Naga struggle at the behest of the Indian government.”
In a press release issued today, the NSCN (K) stated that those lawmakers in question were “pursuing subversive course to force (the) NSCN to capitulate and toe the line of (a) particular political group which propped them and vice-versa.”
Besides back door concurrence with Narendra Modi government to re-impose ban on NSCN (K), the cohorts are actively collaborating to tighten the noose and strangulate the NSCN (K) economically and financially on the premise that freezing our resources would coerce NSCN (K) to compromise Naga sovereignty and conciliate with their patronized faction which is on the brink of accepting Indian constitution, it stated.
The group also observed that “rallying advises of Indianised Naga bureaucrats and technocrats to hasten the decline of NSCN (K)” was becoming more obvious each day. “At the critical juncture where NSCN is perilously confronting two international powers on both ends, choosing to combat the NSCN by these unholy cohorts is extremely unfortunate, to avoid head-on collision the NSCN issues this statement in the hope that anti-Naga leaders do mend their ways.”
