The NSCN-IM Sumi Region reaffirmed support for its collective leadership and endorsed Q Tuccu's June 18 proclamation.

DIMAPUR — The Sumi Region National Workers of the NSCN-IM held a meeting at Zunheboto town on June 30 under the chairmanship of Bokato Kinimi, deputy kilo Kilonser, Sumi Region, to strengthen both the regional and central administration of the organisation.
According to a statement from NSCN-IM Sumi Region, the meeting unanimously adopted a series of resolutions reaffirming support for the NSCN-IM leadership and its political stand.
The members reaffirmed their unwavering support for the present collective leadership of the NSCN-IM, headed by chairman Q Tuccu, vice chairman Tongmeth, ato kilonser Th. Muivah and deputy ato kilonser VS Atem.
The meeting also endorsed the proclamation made by Q Tuccu at the Hebron Council Headquarters on June 18, 2026, stating that the organisation would remain steadfast in its position and would not surrender to the Government of India.
The participants further reaffirmed their commitment to the Framework Agreement signed between the NSCN/GPRN and the Government of India on August 3, 2015, and stated that they would continue to uphold its principles.
