NSCN (IM) reduces “employee tax”

Dimapur, April 22 (EMN): The NSCN (IM) has said that a “tax” which they called “employee tax” has been “reduced” in “Nagalim.” A note from the group’s MIP on Saturday claimed that it was to “ease off the burden of tax payer.” “In view of the plight of the common Naga people to ease off the burden of tax payer the office of the collective leadership dated the 13th April 2017, the GPRN has decreed that henceforth 24% Employee Tax is reduced to 12 % i.e 1% of monthly salary all over Nagalim,” the note stated. “All taxation by way of ‘dealership’ is invalidated,” it added.
