Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of its two senior executive members Ng. Koningam and Toshali Kemp.
Ng. Koningam breathed his last at the Fortis Hospital in New Delhi, after a prolonged illness. He joined the national service on January 15, 1985. Toshali Kemp breathed his last at Tseminyu town after a prolonged illness. He joined the national service on June 4, 1994.
NSCN (IM),in a press release issued by its MIP, stated that both the leaders served the nation selflessly and whole-heartedly in various capacities until their demise.
It stated that their contributions to the Naga cause would be honoured and cherished by all.
NSCN (IM) has conveyed condolences to their bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty God to grant eternal peace and rest to the deceased.
In another statement, NSCN (IM) has condemned the arrest of Keisang Kamei, son of Kaipisin Kamei of Phalong/ Bhalok village, Tamenglong district, by the 23 Assam Rifles personnel at Sibilong village on September 13.
It testified that the arrested individual was not a member of the NSCN and not related to the NSCN activities in any manner.
