NSCN (IM) mourns demise

Dimapur, June 21 (EMN): NSCN (IM) has mourned the untimely demise of its tatar (member of parliament), Orenthung Ovung, son of Renimo Ovung of New Chandalashung village under Lotha region, who passed away on June 20. According to MIP statement, Orenthung Ovung was one of the most senior Lotha Naga national workers and a pioneer of Lotha region. He joined the national service in August 1990. NSCN (IM) also mourned the untimely demise of Corporal (Posthumous) Kekho Kisham, Alee/ Foreign Command, Naga Army and son of Nali Kisham of Lazu village under Pangmi region on June 14 while in the line of duty. He joined the national service in September 2015. The statement said both of them served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until their demise. It added that their names would be recorded in the pages of Naga history and their selfless services rendered to the Naga nation would ever be cherished. NSCN (IM) further conveyed condolences to their bereaved family members and pray for their souls to find eternal peace and rest.
