Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the death of one of its cadres, 'Major' Bendang Jamir, son of Moa Jamir of Mangmentong village (Ao region of Gen Headquarters, Naga Army) who passed away on July 25at Eden Hospital in Dimapur after a prolonged illness 'while in service to the nation'.
A condolence message issued by the MIP, said that the deceased cadre joined the 'national service in 1994' and remained loyal and dedicated to the national service until his demise. It stated that the contribution of the deceased cadre to the national cause shall ever be cherished.
Office of the Longvibu, Naga Army paid homage to the departed soul. Further, it extended its condolences to the near and dear ones and prayed to the almighty God to give strength and solace to the bereaved family.
