Dimapur, June 1 (EMN): The NSCN (IM) has announced its decision to extend the “one year tax holiday accorded to Naga entrepreneurs at the initial year of establishment” to two years with immediate effect. A press release from the group on Saturday stated that the decision was taken “after due consideration of the interest of Naga entrepreneurs.” It however warned that if anyone is found “leasing the name of their business to non-Nagas”, the trade license would be cancelled immediately. Local agriculture produce will be tax-free except for those exporting outside for commercial purpose, it stated. “No ministry/department/agency of GPRN shall utilise the services of non-Nagas in collection of tax. Defaulters shall be made strictly accountable.”
