Dimapur, Nov. 8 (EMN): Asserting that the government of India is prepared to deliver a final solution to the Indo-Naga issue basing on the ‘framework agreement’, the NSCN (IM) has appealed to the other Naga groups to board the “bus of ‘framework agreement’ and be a part of the final solution”. A statement from the group informed that after taking into account New Delhi’s ‘commitment and assurance’ to resolve the issues of Naga national flag and constitution at the earliest time, the two parties have agreed “to go for final touch on the agreed competencies for conclusion”. “We reiterate our stand that we have forgiven the past mistakes of our brothers and sisters in different camps and that they should also forgive our past mistakes and be reconciled in the gracious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. “Let this message of peace and unity among the Nagas be acceptable to all the Nagas, far and near. Unity for the historic tasks ahead is indispensable. Now is the time for the Nagas to unite so that together we move forward to the new era; together we build a land of milk and honey and together we build a people that trust in the Lord,” read the statement.
