  • DIMAPUR — In a move aimed at fostering unity and reconciliation, the NSCN (IM) has announced a 45-day general amnesty across the territory of Nagalim.

  • The proclamation, issued on Thursday by NSCN Chairman (Yaruiwo) Q Tuccu, stated that “time has come to put ourselves in proper perspective with the spirit of forgiveness and integrity.”

  • The amnesty, declared under the authority of the National Security Council (NSC) of the NSCN, was formally approved on May 30, 2025, and will be effective for a period of 45 days beginning June 12.
