Dimapur, Nov. 11 (EMN): NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of its tatar, L Lokho Potsomai from Lakhamei village under Shepoumaramth Region on November 8 after a prolonged illness.
NSCN (IM) press release issued by MIP stated that Lokho Potsomai joined the Naga army on May 5, 1995. It has described him as a God fearing national worker who remained steadfast in his commitment for the national cause and also served as deacon at the CHQ church, Hebron, until his demise. It lamented that his demise has created huge void in the national service which would be difficult to fill.
NSCN (IM) has also mourns the untimely demise of Major Shamah Raman, son of Maiteo Raman of Phalee village under Wung Tangkhul Region of Operation Blue Sky, Naga Army, who breathed his last on November 8 after a brief illness while on duty. He joined the national service on August 8, 1993.
The Office of the Longvibu, GHQ, Naga Army, in paying homage and as a mark of tribute to the departed senior Naga Army officer bestowed upon him posthumously the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
It has conveyed condolence to the bereaved families of the two departed national workers and prayed for their souls to rest in eternal peace.
