Dimapur, May 11 (EMN): The NSCN/ GPRN (R) has suspended ‘kilonser’ Toshi Imchen for an ‘indefinite’ period.
A press release issued by MIP on Friday stated that the decision was taken during its cabinet meeting held on May 7.
During deliberation, Imchen was stated to have been found involved in arbitrary misuse of powers and functions and also conducting independent inquiries , regarding the Ao regional affairs , without any consultations with the higher authorities, the press release stated.
The inappropriate action of Imchen contravened with the party discipline which attracted penalty under clause C ( Security), serial 4 and clause D (anti- social activities) as mentioned in serial 2, the MIP stated.
The suspended member has been directed to submit government properties with immediate effect and informed him not to involve in any of the governments affairs during the suspension period.
The meeting also resolved to initiate re-construction of the Ao regional affairs and as such, suspends the Ao region till further order.
