DIMAPUR — The Nagaland State Allied Healthcare Council (NSAHC) has directed all allied and healthcare professionals in the state to enroll with the council by submitting the duly filled enrolment form on or before July 15.
A DIPR report stated that NSAHC was constituted by Government of Nagaland as per the provisions of National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021.
“The Act is to provide for regulation and maintenance of standards of education and services by allied and healthcare professionals, assessment of institutions, maintenance of a central register and state register and creation of a system to improve access, research and development and adoption of latest scientific advancement and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto,’ the report stated.
It mentioned that the enrolment process is not a registration. It added that registration would be handled as directed by the national council at a later date.
