NPRAAF-F&CS Department meet on cancelling backdoor appointment

Dimapur, June 15 : On the invitation of State Food & Civil Supplies Department, the Nagaland Public Rights Awareness and Action Forum (NPRAAF) held a meeting with the department officials on June 14 and deliberated on the issue of cancelling 76 backdoor appointments in the department. The NPRAAF had submitted a representation on May 17 to State Food & Civil Supplies Department setting a deadline on June 17. Information & Publicity Cell, NPRAAF in a press note said, during the meeting, the department requested the forum for extension of time to look into the demand, and in good faith and with hope that the department would deliver justice on the issue, the NPRAAF extended 15 days expiring on July 2, 2016. The NPRAAF appreciated the department for exhibiting seriousness in dealing with the issue of backdoor appointments.
