Dimapur, Aug. 24 (EMN): The National People’s Party (NPP) youth wing has formed a North East Coordination Committee (NECC) under National People’s Youth Front (NPYF).
Informing this in a press release, the NPP State Youth Working President, Tovi Achumi said that a team of the ‘Nagaland State Youth officials’ participated in a meeting with other state youth officials from Meghalaya and Arunachal in Tura, Meghalaya on Aug. 18 which led to the formation of the NECC.
The main objective for the formation of the NECC, according to the release stated, “is for unification, better coordination and representation between the State Youth bodies of NPFY under North East states in general - with other national level bodies”.
The state youth officials who represented the NPYF Nagaland were Tovi Achumi (State Youth working President), Jaser Meru (State Youth General Secretary), Imli Meren (State youth Secretary) and Yangori Sangtham (State youth Secretary).
