
Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): The State Minority Cell of the National People’s Party, Nagaland conducted an advent Christmas charity outreach at the District Hospital Dimapur on December 19.
A press statement informed that officials and members presented more than 100 Christmas gift hampers to the patients and the members of the medical fraternity including the doctors and nurses on duty.
It stated that earlier this month, the state women wing of NPP Nagaland had also undertaken a similar advent Christmas charity outreach programme.
During the charity drive, the officials and members of the NPP State women wing visited the operation salvage rehabilitation centre in Peren district and distributed ration including rice, dal and other edible items to the inmates.
It further informed that around 250 food packets were distributed to the poor and homeless street dwellers in and around the vicinity of Dimapur railway station.
