Dimapur, August 14 (EMN): The NPF Youth Wing of 10 Northern Angami -1 Assembly Constituency today gave what it termed as the 'final notice' to close down the temporary office of the NPF in Bayavü with a series of guidelines including a warning to the media.
In a notice that was circulated in social media where it mentioned that it was "Not necessarily meant for publication since NPF Youth Wing 10th Northern Angami -1 A/C will not stoop low to paper war against a non-existent establishment", it warned the "impersonators" of the consequences after the "deadline on 13 August 2017".
It stated that, "Henceforth, anybody staying at the said illegal office at any time will be doing so at his/her own risk; Any armed personnel, be it from the Nagaland police force, other cadres or organisation, deployed at the said location, are informed to leave the place and abstain from any direct confrontation with the volunteers as this is an internal party matter concerning the legitimate existence of the party"
While expressing gratitude to the residents of Bayavü colony for their co-operation and support so far it advised them to" Remain calm but at the same time be cautious and vigilant and in case of any eventuality to remain indoors".
It also warned the media against acknowledging the media releases from the said office.
"Local media houses are requested to kindly refrain from entertaining press statements that do not carry the endorsement of authorised signatories".
A similar notice was also issued by the NPF Kohima division urging "T.R zeliang and Rio-led group to gracefully shut down its illegal office by paying heed to the notice of the 10th Northern Angami-A/C Youth Wing and the court verdict ".
"In the event of any eventuality and incidents arising out of this issue by ignoring this noble call of the NPF Kohima Division, the division will fully support any course of action taken by the 10th Northern Angami-I A/C Youth Wing and the leaders of T.R Zeliang and Rio-led group shall be held solely responsible," it further added.
