The 48 Moka A/C NPF Party workers and the General Public had a joint consultative meeting on Dated 12th July’2014 at Angphang village. The meeting discussed at length about the recent transition period of DAN-III Government and the subsequent decision to drop Shri. E.E.Pangteang, from the state Cabinet. All area leaders and Party workers express their utmost dismay despite electing our leader Shri.E.E.Pangteang, for the third consecutive term in the interest of NPF Party. Under his leadership the party has achieved an all time high record of 11,000/- votes poll in favour NPF Candidate during the recent M.P election under 48 Moka A/C. The party due to his belief and dedication of regionalism had up-healed the stature of NPF to a greater height. One of his greatest achievements is the enrolment of life membership cell under the set-up of NPF Party. In this regard the area party members have ask him to withdraw his membership.
The meeting reach its climax but due to the intervention of Shri.E.E.Pangteang Hon’ble Adviser, Shri. A. Nyamnyei Ex. Minister & VP NPF Central office and Shri. Kiko Ex. Minister, critical situation was averted. All this leaders advice the party members to restrain from any activities that would jeopardise the NPF Party but to remain steadfast and support the leadership of Shri.T.R.Zeliang, Hon’ble Chief Minister and Dr.Shurhozelie Lieietsu, President NPF on May 24 and June 12.
The leaders also informed that the party president and chief minister had assured to look into the representation of the 48 Moka A/C that has asked to retain the MLA in the previous posts.
As such, on behalf of the NPF Party under 48 Moka A/C I would like to bring forth to your notice the collective decision of the party meeting to request and reconsider the portfolio assigned to our Hon’ble Adviser, who was appointed on cabinet rank with no department and office. The meeting also decided to appeal the esteemed leaders to clarify the consequences for dropping out tallest leader from the State Cabinet, who had been working with utmost precedence for consensus leadership in the Party which was achieved through his sincere effort. It is our prayer and believe that your wisdom will deliver the justice, in the best interest of the NPF Party.
E.Y.PONGTAU KONYAK
President
