EMN Dimapur, January 10 A joint meeting of NPF Central office bearers, CEC members, divisional unit presidents, Assembly constituency presidents and senior NPF leaders, at a meeting in Dimapur on Saturday, unanimously resolved to extend full support and expressed confidence in the decision of the majority NPF legislators in electing G Kaito Aye as the leader of NPF Legislature Party. According a release issued by NPF Coordination Committee convenor Nuzota Swuro and co-convenor T Shuya, the meeting expressed strong resentment over the divisive action of NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie, saying he took autocratic and dictatorial action in suspending seven NPF MLAs, the repercussion of which is leading to division in the party. The meeting sincerely appealed to all NPF party rank and file to come out and extend support to G Kaito Aye who has been unanimously elected by majority NPF legislators so as to save the unity of NPF party and proper inner democracy within the party. The meeting further expressed its regret against NPF president for failing in his responsibility to initiate any reconciliatory step within the party as head/father of the party and remaining partisan to a particular group and working against the stand of the majority. The meeting was attended by 36 A/C presidents, six division unit presidents, 145 senior NPF party leaders, including the Central office bearers, Women Wing and Youth Wing, the release added.
