DIMAPUR — The NPF minority wing has expressed grief over the sudden passing of Krishna Gopal Chakraborty, a social worker and resident of Dimapur.
At the time of his death, he was serving as a senior contractor and supplier for the MES under 3 Corps C/O 99 APO at Rangapahar.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]In a condolence message, the party noted that Chakraborty was closely involved with various socio-cultural organisations in Dimapur. He was an executive member of the Ramakrishna Mission, a member of the Dimapur Kalibari, a member of the Bharat Vikas Parishad, and a life member of the Red Cross Society, as well as Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammellan. He was also a founding member of the NPF minority cell, Dimapur division.
The message went on to say that Chakraborty's contributions in his various capacities will be remembered with respect and inspiration by the youth and citizens of Dimapur.
The party extended heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family and prayed that his soul rest in peace.
