The NPF Minority Wing has pledged full support to the party leadership and endorsed the Central Executive Council resolution, stressing unity and development.

DIMAPUR — The Minority Wing of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has extended full support to the leadership of Apong Pongener, president; Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and secretary general; and Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Leader of the NPF Legislature Party, while also endorsing the resolution of the Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting held on September 6.
According to a press release, it appreciated the call for unity between present and former leaders of the party and its appeal for the return of all former comrades for the larger interest of the NPF and the people.
It said that the Minority Wing deeply appreciates the commitment of the leadership to regional unity, reconciliation, and the safeguarding of the democratic aspirations of the pan-Nagas in general and the people of Nagaland, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh in particular.

Bishnu Bhattacharjee, president of the NPF Minority Wing (Central), reaffirmed the support from all ranks and files of the Minority Wing to the Party President, the CEC, and party legislators for the call of unity between the present and former leaders of the NPF.
He stated that this decision of the party’s highest body is the need of the hour to bring peace, development, and progress to Nagaland in the true spirit of state building.
The Minority Wing extended its appreciation to Awangbow Newmai, president of the NPF Manipur State Unit (MSU), and all the NPF MLAs from Manipur for their wholehearted support of the NPF Central leadership and the resolution taken at the CEC meeting.
“The Minority Wing remains fully committed to working under the constitution of NPF and the leadership of the NPF in strengthening the party and firmly believes that 'the NPF is the only seasoned regional party' capable of bringing peace, inclusive development, and lasting solutions for the people of Nagaland,” it said.
