
The minority wing of Naga People's Front (NPF), central, has resolved to work together in the upcoming state assembly election under the leadership of its party president, Dr. Shurhozelie, and the leader of NPF legislature party leader, Kuzholuzo Nienu.
The resolution to this effect was taken during a pre-election coordination meeting of the minority wing (central) and divisions held at the party’s office in Dimapur on January 25.
The president of NPF minority wing (central), Bishnu Bhattacharjee, who also chaired the meeting, has requested all the party workers and well-wishers to stand united and work together.
An update from the NPF minority wing stated that the members visited the residence of Dr. Shurhozelie and Kuzholuzo Nienu on January 26 and 27, wherein the members reaffirmed their support to the party.
It stated that the president of NPF minority wing, Bhattacharjee has reaffirmed support to the party and assured to work for the development and protection of all the people, religion and communities without any discrimination.
