DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has lauded the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), the Sümi Hoho, all tribal hohos, civil society organisations, church leaders, and Naga Political Groups (NPGs) for successfully organising the historic reconciliation meet at Zunheboto town on September 27.
In a press release, the NPF stated that the adoption of the ‘Zunheboto Resolution’ is an important step for the Naga people on the path to peace and unity.
“The NPF appreciates the courage and responsibility shown by everyone involved in committing to forgiveness, stopping hostilities, and working together for ‘One Naga Machang’. This kind of cooperation is essential to create a common political voice that reflects the hopes of all Nagas,” the regional party stated.

The party also welcomed the spiritual aspect of the initiative, including the call for prayer and reflection throughout October.
“True reconciliation starts in the hearts of individuals, and this spiritual focus will guide the Naga people toward a fair and honourable political solution,” it stated.
The NPF also stated that despite the Government of India's extension of the ban on the NSCN-K, it believes in resolving conflicts through dialogue and called upon the government to engage all Naga groups, including those currently outside the peace process, to reach a “durable and honourable settlement of the vexed Naga political issue.”
“As a regional political party committed to peace and dialogue, the NPF supports all efforts that strengthen Naga unity and a shared, peaceful future. We encourage every tribe, organisation, and political group to continue upholding the spirit of Ungma and Zunheboto resolutions,” it added.
