Dimapur, Feb. 9: Naga People’s Front (NPF) Kohima division, in its executive emergency meeting held on February 8, resolved to stand firm and support the leadership of chief minister, TR Zeliang and NPF president, Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu. ‘The NPF Kohima Division has been extending fullest support and co-operation with the apex APO and AYO till date against the boycott of ULB elections, however with the formation of NTAC which is purely politically motivated, therefore the NPF Kohima Division will not participate in any of their activities,’ a joint statement issued by division president Gonie-u Sirie, president 8 Western Angami AC Votso Peseyie, president 9 Kohima town AC Zotuo Kire, general secretary 10 Northern Angami AC Thehiechulie Solo, president 14 Southern Angami AC Neiduto, president 11 Northern Agami AC Khozolie Kiewhuo, and general secretary 15 Southern Angami AC Meyleho have said in a joint statement.
The division appealed to all concerned to come together and ‘reason out what is best for the Nagas and the society at large.’
