NPF 5–Ghaspani II holds first executive meet after merger with NDPP at Medziphema town.

IMAPUR — The first parent body executive meeting of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) 5–Ghaspani II Assembly Constituency following the merger of NPF and NDPP was held at the NPF Office, Ward-5, Medziphema town, on March 6.
According to a press release issued by NPF Ghaspani II, the meeting was chaired by Thepfüselie Makritsu, president, NPF 5–Ghaspani II AC, and was attended by senior party leaders and other rank and file members of the parent body executives, who deliberated at length on core party issues.
After deliberations, the house unanimously adopted several resolutions. The meeting placed on record its appreciation to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, under whose leadership the PDA government has entered its third year of governance and public service.
The house also congratulated Advisor Zhaleo Rio for the conduct of the Urban Local Body Elections 2024, which marked the implementation of 33 per cent reservation for women candidates in Nagaland.

It further lauded Zhaleo for his leadership in the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs department for bringing reforms and development in urban and municipal areas.
The house reaffirmed its support, loyalty, and commitment to the NPF and its leadership under Zhaleo Rio, while pledging to work collectively for the growth and strengthening of the party at all levels, beginning from the grassroots.
The meeting concluded with a minute of silence in honour of departed party workers and leaders, followed by a mass prayer.
