The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Central Executive Council (CEC) under the leadership of Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu today reiterated to wholeheartedly support the ongoing peace process and political dialogue till an honorable solution is arrived at. The resolution was adopted during NPF CEC held today at the Central office, Kohima under the chairmanship of NPF Secretary General K. G. Kenye.
The NPF CEC reiterates its earlier stand on the Indo-Naga political issue to wholeheartedly support the ongoing peace process and political dialogue till an honorable solution is arrived at, stated a release issued by the press bureau of NPF Central office.
The house also congratulated Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang for winning the motion of confidence in the trial of strength on February 5 at the special (emergent) Assembly session. It also extended appreciation to the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland partners and especially the Congress legislators for voting in favor of the NPF-led DAN government under the leadership of T R Zeliang.
The House also fully endorsed support to the leadership of the party president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and honorable CM T.R Zeliang.
The NPF CEC further welcomed the “NPF dissidents MLAs” for acknowledging the leadership of NPF under the presidentship of Dr. Shürhozelie by voting in line with the party directive.
Further resolved to authorize the President Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and Secretary General K.G. Kenye to take any necessary steps as deemed fit before the Election Commission of India for and on behalf of the party.
