BJP National Secretary in-charge of Nagaland Farooq Khan asked the State Government of Nagaland to take full advantage of the central schemes designed for the Northeast region.
Saying that the state is being ruled by NPF and BJP alliance, Khan said that the Government of Nagaland through its official machinery can do many things. He said that NPF working hand in hand with BJP can make Nagaland into a fully developed state in the shortest possible time. Khan said this during the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland State unit consultative meeting held at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur on Sunday.
In the meeting, the BJP National leader impressed upon the party leaders and workers to join hands in order to serve the people of Nagaland to the best of their abilities. He said the BJP led-NDA government at the centre under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a number of schemes for the upliftment of underprivileged people as well as the development of long neglected state like Nagaland. He then stressed upon the party workers to first study all such schemes thoroughly and then work whole heartedly to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach the targeted groups especially in far flung undeveloped areas of Nagaland.
Saying that the state is being ruled by NPF and BJP alliance, Khan urged upon the Chief Minister of Nagaland to ensure that Government of Nagaland through its official machinery takes full advantage of all such schemes of central government which are specially designed for the development of North-Eastern states. He said that NPF working hand in hand with BJP can make Nagaland into a fully developed state in the shortest possible time.
Meanwhile, expressing his full faith in the leadership of newly elected state president Visasolie Lhoungu, Khan expressed hope that under his leadership BJP Nagaland would scale new height in popularity and garner enough public support.
On the occasion BJP general secretary (organization) Nagaland Prashant Arora called upon party workers to work unitedly for the welfare of the people of the state. H. K Khulu, retd Additional Chief Secretary Nagaland and senior party leader R. Supu Angami gave useful suggestions for making the party more dynamic and progressive in its approach.
BJP state president Visasolie Lhoungu presided over the function and assured the party leaders as well as party workers that he will leave no ‘stone unturned’ to work for the welfare of the party workers as well as the people of the Nagaland by making all the party workers involved as a ‘united’ team.
