NPF 34 Aghunato Assembly Constituency convenes a party meeting attended by over 1,000 workers and GBs to discuss regional development.

DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) 34 Aghunato Assembly Constituency (AC) convened a party meeting, attended by over 1,000 party workers and gaon buras, at the town hall in Aghunato town on Thursday.
Advisor for Land Resources G Ikuto Zhimomi, who represents 34 Aghunato AC, delivered the keynote address. According to an update, he outlined ongoing and upcoming developments in the area, crediting the support of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
The MLA urged awareness for the upcoming census, sought widespread support for the 75th jubilee celebrations of the establishment of Aghunato in early 2027, and highlighted key government schemes and health insurance programmes benefiting the people of Nagaland.
Short speeches were delivered by central office bearers and party leaders. Working President of NPF Central Ahovi Zhimo exhorted party workers to remain steadfast in defending and protecting the NPF party.

Working President of the Women Wing, NPF Central Nagaland, Vikali Zhimomi, stated that the present government under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio is giving special importance to women serving in various decision-making capacities.
President of the Farmers Wing NPF, Zunheboto district, Kiheto Phuleshe also addressed the gathering and expressed appreciation to the MLA for the significant progress of development in the constituency and to the present state government for providing the best facilities and developmental opportunities to the people of the Zunheboto district, particularly the Aghunato area.
Other notable attendees included General Secretary (Women) of NPF Central Nagaland Abigail Zhimo and member of the Farmers’ Wing, Zunheboto, Hetoi Yeptho.
Speeches were also delivered by representatives from four units in support of the MLA and the Neiphiu Rio-led government. Akukau Kuvito Aye spoke on behalf of the Hoshepu range, Akukau Kakishe Yepthomi on behalf of the Tokiye range, Akukau Vikheho Yepthomi on behalf of the Aghunato range, and Akukau Kahuto Awomi on behalf of the Sata range.
