NPCC to protest demonetisation

Dimapur, Nagaland 24: Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has announced to protest against demonetization on November 28 along with all opposition parties. NPCC will press to monetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes till new notes are sufficiently inducted and to open banking services in rural areas to facilitate rural people. NPCC will hold protest rally meeting at Clock Tower, Dimapur, at 11 a.m. In this regard, it appealed all citizens to participate in the meeting. It further appealed to all opposition parties, citizens, Chamber of Commerce & Industries & Trade Unions to show solidarity to the demands by downing shutters between 11 a.m. to 12 noon on November 28 and also participate in flag marching to respective Deputy Commissioners to submit the demands. NPCC president, K Therie has requested all concerned to bring their respective flags.
