Dimapur, Sep. 29 (EMN): Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) will observe the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi with full participation of party workers at all levels.
An update from the NPCC communication department stated that a Padyatra would be organised on October 2 at Dimapur at 8 am from Dimapur DCC office to Clock Tower. It stated that Dimapur DCC along with party workers from all five ACCC and well-wishers would take part in the padyatra. All PCC officials based in Dimapur are asked to mandatorily participate.
On October 3, it would organise a seminar-cum-meeting at 11 am at Congress Bhavan, Kohima, with a prominent guest speaker from Delhi, who would speak on Gandhian principles and ideology. The meeting would be followed by a meeting to discuss on upcoming membership drive, training programs etc.
All PCC office bearers, PCC members, members of various PCC committees and departments, former INC candidates, frontal chiefs and their colleagues, DCC president and colleagues including district frontal office bearers and ACCC presidents are requested to attend the seminar-cum-meeting.
