NP, Tyrant’s FC and Addax win

Our Correspondent Kohima, August 21 Former Champions Nagaland Police, Tyrant’s FC Khuzama and Addax Club Football Club defeated respective rivals on the fourth day of the Classic Cup at Kohima Local Ground.In the first match Nagaland Police defeated Silver Fox, Kohima by 5-0. Seyiekhrietuo Victor scored the first two goals in the 4th and 18th minute while Along Joseph scored 3rd and 4th goals in the 36th and 52nd minute while Toshi Longkumer sealed the score board with the fifth goal in the 56th minute. In a close-shave second match, Tyrant’s FC Khuzama defeated Chakroma Sports Association by a solitary goal. Meyiezo Sale netted the only goal in the 22nd minute. Playing the last match of the day Addax FC came from behind to defeat Mekylidvnt United, Daklane by 3-1. Addax conceded the first goal in the 15th minute as rival striker Ratobe made a powerful long range attempt beating the custodian. However, they managed to find the much need equalizer in the 21st minute as Ketuolhouvi Khezhie converted a direct free kick, which was awarded a result of hand-ball outside the D’box by Mekylidvnt defender Pehau. The first half ended in 1-1 draw, but Keviphretuo Kire gave Addax Club the lead goal in the 48th minute while their victory was confirmed with the third goal coming through the boots of Sedevilie Kire in the 63rd minute. Earlier, three yellow cards were shown each against Sedevilie Kire and Keneisetuo Khezhie of Addax and Pehau of Mekylidvnt.
