Dimapur, August 24 (EMN): The Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) has informed that there will be mass social work within the colony on August 26, from 6 to 10 a.m. All business establishment/shopkeepers within its jurisdiction have been directed to close down their shops till 10 a.m. and to clean their surroundings. The council also informed all the Khel chairman, GBs, council members, Women Wing, Youth Forum of Notun Bosti and colony residents have been asked to bring spade and hoe for leveling and patching potholes will.
The council chairman, E. Jon Ezung and secretary, Kavito Ayemi, also informed all dog owners of Notun Bosti to properly chain and control their pets. The council cautioned that this would be the last warning, and it will be compelled to issue shoot at sight order to those dogs loitering around the colony randomly with effect from August 26. The council pointed out it has repeatedly warned the dog owners of the colony in the past, but they have failed to comply with the orders. Further, the NBCD informed the general public that henceforth the correspondence address to the council/colony be addressed as “Notun Bosti” and also directed all business establishment within their jurisdiction to use colony name as mentioned instead of Nuton Basti/Nutun Bosti etc, failing to comply with the council directive heavy penalty would be impose.
