Dimapur, Sep. 8 (EMN): The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland state has said that the JEE-paper leak issue would “create restlessness and doubts among the student fraternity about the exam-conducting bodies” if not resolved on time.

In a press release, the state unit said that ‘the NSUI had staged a countrywide protest after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a case against a private institute on the allegations of committing fraud in conducting JEE (MAIN) exam 2021’.

It stated that the student body had demanded an enquiry into the issue under the supervision of a sitting Supreme Court judge as well as resignation of the Education Minister on moral grounds.

Blaming the Centre for the leak, it asked how students would trust other competitive exams to be safe and fair if the government couldn’t protect prestigious examinations like JEE.
