KOHIMA — The Northern Angami Youth Organisation (NAYO) on Saturday conducted its first presidential council meeting at Gariphema Basa Council Hall, Kohima.
Delivering the presidential address, NAYO president Khriesazo Liezietsu acknowledged Almighty God for the day and also the host village Gariphema Basa in enabling the meeting.
He urged the members to let go of the past and should move ahead with a focus and think ahead for the welfare of the organisation.

Liezietsu also highlighted NAYO’s upcoming programme and sought cooperation of each unit for the success of the events.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Neilalie Pielie, general secretary of GBVYSO, and resolution was presided over by Neimezo Houzha, NAYO general secretary.
The programme, led by Kedosanyȕ Zhale, vice president of NAYO, began with an invocation prayer by Zasituo Pielie, Pastor, NCRC Gariphema Basa and concluded with vote thanks by Ruokouvituo Sote, environment secretary, NAYO.
Altogether 16 villages with over 80 participants attended the meeting.
