Dimapur, April 19 (EMN): The North East State Olympic Associations led by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and the chairman of the Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) Bamang Tago met with Indian Olympic Association's (IOA) President Narinder Dhruv Batra and Secretary General Rajeev Metha at the Hotel Lalit in New Delhi on Thur. April 19.
The northeast team has pitched for development of Olympic Games in the northeast region, a note from Kuolie Mere, PRO(IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi on Thrusday stated. The team also interacted with National Sports Federations seeking their supports for development of sports in the region.
