DIMAPUR — The North East Premier League (NEPL) Season 3, organised by the Sunrise Sports Foundation (SSF), concluded at the Netaji Subhash Sports Stadium at Jasola Vihar, New Delhi, on March 22, following league matches held across Noida, Gurgaon, and Faridabad.
According to an update, the tournament featured 22 teams from across the eight states of the Northeast region. It commenced on February 21 and unfolded over a month of league matches.
The final match was played between the Brahmaputra Braves and the Northeast Warriors, with the latter emerging as the champions.
Chetan Sharma, former Indian cricketer and former chairman of selectors for the Indian national team, attended the grand finale and prize distribution ceremony as the chief guest.
