at enhancing job readiness and professional skills, Norman Putsure College
(NPC), Chümoukedima, in partnership with the Nationalist Institute of Technology
and Innovation (NITI), Nagaland, conducted a resume-building and mock interview
session on Friday for final-year BA students.
- AN update from the college stated that the session was led
by Ajay Sethi Jain, founder and managing director of NITI Nagaland, who shared
practical strategies for drafting effective resumes and approaching interviews
with confidence.

- As part of the logistics of resume building, he emphasised
the need to acquire transferable skills, customise each resume to align with
the specific role and employer and ensure clarity, accuracy, credibility and
completeness in supporting details.
- Jain underscored the value of first jobs particularly in
smaller firms as launch pad for career growth. He urged students to embrace
early opportunities with modesty to build experience and adaptability.
- The session concluded with a question and answer segment,
allowing students to engage directly with Jain and seek personalised advice.
