Norman Putsure College Chümoukedima held its first graduation day celebrating the achievements of the class of 2025.

DIMAPUR — Norman Putsure College, Chümoukedima, held its first graduation day on Saturday at the college premises.
According to a press release, the event was attended by Sentiyanger Pongen, additional secretary, Higher and Technical Education of Nagaland, as the chief guest, accompanied by Longshi Kikon, councillor, ward 7, Chümoukedima, with Dr. Eastrose Miachieo, assistant professor, department of History, as the chairperson.
The chief guest, speaking on the occasion, reminded the graduating batch of the importance of hard work and perseverance in a competitive and ever-changing world. He urged the students to innovate and adapt alongside academic achievements.
He also stressed the importance of entrepreneurship, encouraging the students to dream and start with humble beginnings. Above all, he exhorted the class of 2025 to seize the day, seek advice from elders, and walk under God’s guidance and wisdom to become leaders of the nation.

Earlier, Dr. K Timothy Langwangbe, principal of the college, delivered the welcome address, declaring the first graduation day as a red-letter day, celebrating the achievements of the class of 2025.
In her address, Managing Director Saneinuo Putsure highlighted the vision behind the college and the zeal and dedication displayed by the founding members of the institution.
She spoke of how the first batch of students hold a special place in her heart and encouraged them to be bright and bold in life while remembering God’s purpose for them. Congratulatory video messages to the class of 2025 from Chairperson Aseiu Putsure and Co-chairperson Seyie Putsure, both based in the USA, were projected to the audience.
Fuchumlo T Tsanglao, assistant professor, department of Sociology, reminisced about how the class of 2025 started their journey at Norman Putsure College, blooming into individuals with a bright future and capacity for greatness in all things.
The valedictorian, Orenvungi Tsanglao of the department of Sociology, thanked the faculty and management for their sacrifice and love, stating that the bonds and memories the class of 2025 had made would always remain with them.
