Non-Nagas in Mokokchung told to verify credentials

EMN Dimapur, April 20 [dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Ao Students’ Conference has asked all non-Naga persons living in Mokokchung district to renew or register their ‘AKM survival census card’ during April 24-30. The Ao Students’ Conference issued a press release on Monday. They are to complete the formalities with required documents from 10:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M from the AKM’s office. Persons from the state of Assam are to produce their permanent residential certificate, land patta, ration card, and any supporting documents issued on or before 1960.For persons from the rest of the states in India, they are produce ID cards issued by the block (Phaichan Patra), and residential certificate (Awasi), election card, and Indian passport. Persons from Nepal are to produce ID cards issued by the Gurkha Union “All the person availing for news registration must be accompanied by his/her guarantor along with required documents and 2 passports (both the guarantor and applicants),” the organization stated.
