Noksen Area Teachers Union celebrated its silver jubilee at Noksen Town Baptist Lashong, Tuensang, with MLA Lima Onen as the special guest.

DIMAPUR — The Noksen Area Teachers Union (NATU) celebrated its silver jubilee at Noksen Town Baptist Lashong, Tuensang, on November 6 on the theme “Shaping minds, serving communities”.
According to a DIPR report, the event was attended by MLA Lima Onen as the special guest. NATU was established in 2000.
Speaking on the occasion, Lima reflected on the theme and urged the teachers to serve with full commitment in imparting quality education to students. He noted that blessings would come to those who serve with dedication and sincerity.
He expressed that the existence of NATU has contributed significantly to the growth of the education sector and urged the union to retrospect and continue excelling in serving the students’ community. He further exhorted the teachers to be role models for students so that they may grow by following their footprints.
Short speeches were also delivered by S Yongsen, pioneer NATU; Phuniang, SDO (C) Noksen; C Pongsu, president of CWS; and Sipong Chuba, president of ANSTS Tuensang Unit.
