- DIMAPUR — The
Noklak District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of
December was held on December 17 at the DC conference hall, Noklak, under the
chairmanship of the MLA and DPDB chairman, Benei M Lamthiu.
- According to a DIPR report, addressing the meeting, MLA P
Longon appealed to the members to verify and ensure the accuracy of census
details for the better development of the district.
- After a brief discussion, the board approved the proposed
upgradation of PHC Panso to CHC and the creation of district commandant, home
guard, and civil defence-cum-SDRF at Noklak.
- A PowerPoint presentation was given by the departments of
the Public Works Department (Road and Bridges) and Forest, highlighting the
ongoing projects and achievements of the respective departments in the
district.
- The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Lamthiu,
who expressed his sincere gratitude to all members for their tireless efforts
and collective commitment to the district's development.
- He urged the members to continue working together towards
the shared goal of prosperity and development, thereby laying a strong
foundation for a flourishing Noklak district.
