KOHIMA — The
Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) has notified that any registered
player intending to participate in the upcoming Nagaland Super League (NSL)
must obtain a no objection certificate (NOC) from the association.
In a statement, KDFA cautioned that players failing to
secure the NOC would face disciplinary action. The association emphasised that
the NOC requirement is mandatory for all registered players under its
jurisdiction.
Further, the KDFA appealed to the Nagaland Football
Association (NFA) and the participating NSL teams to encourage and promote
local coaching talent by recruiting local coaches to lead teams during the
league, which will not only provide them with valuable experience but also
contribute to the development of football in Nagaland.
