Dimapur, Aug. 11 (EMN): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has released the official logo of the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2022, scheduled to be held from August 22 to the 27th August.
NOA in an update informed that there will be 11 disciplines for the Games, which includes archery, athletics, boxing, badminton, basketball, football, lawn tennis, shooting sports, table tennis, taekwondo and wushu.
The opening ceremony will be on August 22 and the much-awaited men’s football will commence from the August 17 and the rest of the disciplines will start from August 22 to the 27th, NOA stated.
Informing that the last date for registration is August 13, NOA stated that till date more than 1500 athletes, officials and organisers have registered for the games.
NOA further announced that there will be three venues for the Games namely Longleng (badminton), Dimapur (lawn tennis and shooting sports and paralympic disciplines), Kohima (archery, athletics, basketball, boxing, football, table tennis, taekwondo, wushu)
